Welcome to The Church of Hope, where God loves you perfectly and unconditionally
The Church of Hope began 30 years ago as a mission congregation. We are committed to serving our community and to Spirit-filled worship.
We are Evangelical. We are Accepting.
What does it mean to be evangelical?
- We preach the gospel that Jesus Christ redeems all humankind. (John 1:29)
- We celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Matthew 28:16 – 20 and 1 Corinthians 11: 23 – 26)
- We believe the Holy Spirit guides our worship and fills our hearts to serve. (Acts 2: 1 – 13)
What does it mean to be accepting?
- Our congregation includes people from all manner of backgrounds, languages, races, sexual orientations, and gender expressions. (Galatians 3:28)
- Questioning God and asking the big questions that we all face is totally alright! We are people on a journey of the mind and heart. (Proverbs 2: 1 – 5)
- If you have have had a tough time with Christians in your past, we hope that this congregation can show you God’s love in a non-judgemental, supportive way. (1 Thessalonians 5: 11)
Always accepting – always loving – God’s way
